You can find us at unit 74 in the Kurnal Industrial area, over in Bhatena 4. It’s a noisy part of town with a lot of other workshops nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the looms and the heavy traffic. We work with fabric every day, mostly just moving bolts of cloth around and making sure the colors look right under the lights. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and lint, no matter how much we try to sweep it up. It’s a family-run kind of vibe here, even if we aren't all related. We’ve been doing this for years, and the routine hasn't changed much. We get the raw materials in, process them, and then they go out to whoever needs them. There’s no big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the textiles. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. That’s just part of the life in an industrial estate like this one. We know the other shop owners on our street, and we often help each other out when someone needs a tool or an extra hand. It’s a busy place, and we’re usually here until late making sure the orders are packed and ready for the morning. It’s simple, honest work with fabric and thread that keeps the place going day after day.
