The office is right here in Surat at the Jamali Building, specifically in room 203. It is easy to find if you know the Qutbiwadi area well. We have been in this spot for a while now, looking out at the streets of Aamkhas Begampura. Most days start with the same routine of opening up the shutters and getting the computers running. People come in and out all day long. Some have problems with their signals and others just want to pay a bill or get a new SIM card. It gets pretty loud outside with all the traffic and the local vendors shouting their prices. Inside, it is just us trying to keep up with the paperwork and the phone calls. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break before the next person walks through the door. The desks are a bit cluttered with papers and old files. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular office where we do our work. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We know most of the people around here by face if not by name. It is just how things go in this part of Surat. We keep the lights on late sometimes when there is too much to do. It is a steady rhythm of work that keeps us going through the week and into the next. We have some old posters on the wall that have been there for years. It is a humble place but we get the job done.
