High-tech Bioagent Agri-inputs Corporation

Our place is out in the Bhagwati Nagar Industrial Estate, specifically at A-1 83. It’s in the Bhestan area, near K. Thottiyapatti. Being in an industrial estate means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks coming and going. It’s a bit dusty and the roads aren't always in the best shape, but it’s the right place for High-tech Bioagent Agri-inputs Corporation. We have a large space here because we need to store the inputs before they go out. The ceilings are high and it stays pretty cool inside even when it’s boiling outside. We have a small partitioned area that serves as the office. It has a couple of fans and some metal filing cabinets. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the bags are sealed right. The guys in the warehouse are usually busy loading up small tempos. We don't really have a 'front desk' – if you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone in a grey shirt checking a clipboard. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. Most of the furniture we have was bought secondhand years ago. We focus on getting the agri-inputs out to the distributors on time. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping track of numbers. The days are long, but we’re used to the rhythm of the estate by now. It is what it is.
