Balaji Tours & Travel is over at 12, Hira Baug on Varachha Road. It’s a busy part of Surat, 395006, and there is always something going on outside. We are right near the Soham Apartment, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Our office is a modest one. It’s not very big, but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need to run things. We’ve got some old wooden chairs and a desk that has seen a lot of use. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and a clock that’s a few minutes fast. We don't mind the rush of Varachha Road; it makes the day go by faster. We spend our time checking bus times and organizing trips for whoever walks in. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping track of names and dates. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s just the way things are around here. We aren't a big corporation, just a local shop trying to do things right. The people who come in are usually our neighbors or folks from the nearby apartments. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even when we’re bogged down with work.
