We've been at 28/B Rameshwar Society for a long time now. It’s right near the Nani Bahucharaji Temple on Ved Road. Most people know the spot. We spend most of our days working on reeds here in the workshop. It’s a bit noisy sometimes but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things. We don't have a big office or anything fancy like that. Just the machines and the materials we use every day. If you walk past the temple, you’ll find us easily enough. Sometimes the traffic on Ved Road gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The team here isn't big, just a few of us who know the trade. We grew up around these machines. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and it’s what we know how to do. Some days the humidity makes the metal a bit tricky to handle, but we manage. People come by to pick up their orders or just to chat about what they need for their looms. We don't do much advertising, mostly just folks in the neighborhood or other businesses who’ve known us for years. We try to keep the shop organized, but with all the parts lying around, it can get a little messy. That’s just part of being a manufacturing place. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
