Averest Clothes is tucked away in the Meghdhanush Complex at 64/d. It's one of those buildings that everyone in the neighborhood knows, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We’ve been set up here for some time now. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need for the day-to-day operations. Usually, the morning starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air in before the sun gets too high. We spend a lot of time sorting through stock and making sure the racks are decent. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where the important stuff is. Most days, it's just the sound of the sewing machines or someone chatting out in the hallway. We aren't trying to be some big international brand. We just focus on the garments we have right in front of us. If a customer walks in, they usually just look around while we finish up a task. The lighting in the complex can be a bit dim in the afternoons, but we’ve got our own lamps to help see the stitching. It's a quiet sort of work life. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just find us by word of mouth or by walking past the complex. Sometimes we get deliveries that block the entrance for a few minutes, but neighbors don't mind much. It's just a regular shop run by regular people who like working with clothes and keeping things simple.
