If you are looking for us, we are right on Tower Road in the Zampa Bazar area. The shop is in the Saifee Street Tower, and we go by the name Any. It’s a very busy part of the market, so there’s always noise from the street and people walking by. We’ve been sitting here for quite a while, doing our work and watching the city go by. The address says Shenaz Mhendi on Saifee Street, and that is where you will find us. The space inside is small but we’ve made it work for us over the years. There are usually a few of us here, sitting on the stools and talking while we work. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a place where we do our business every day. Zampa Bazar is one of those places where everyone knows everyone else, so we get a lot of locals dropping in just to say hello. Sometimes the smell of the market is strong, and the traffic on Tower Road can be a real headache, but we like it here. It feels real. We spend a lot of time with our hands busy, and the hours just seem to fly by. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just open up the shop in the morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple life.
