I am over here at 108 Vrundavan Society in Amroli. Most people around here just call the area Madhuvan. It’s a quiet residential spot in Surat, so it’s not like those big offices in the city center. I set up shop here because it’s close to home and I don’t have to deal with a long commute every morning. The office is basically one room with a couple of chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. I do a bit of everything, really. Some days I’m just filing papers or answering the phone, and other days I’m meeting people who live nearby. The neighbors are nice, though their dogs bark a lot whenever someone new walks into the society. I don’t have a big sign or anything fancy, just a small board. It’s a simple way to make a living. The internet can be slow in this part of Amroli, which makes the work take longer than it should sometimes. I usually have tea around four o'clock when the sun starts to go down. People stop by just to chat sometimes, which is fine. It makes the day go by faster. I’ve lived in Surat for a long time, so I know how things work around here. It’s just me and a little bit of help now and then. We don't do anything complicated, just plain and honest work from this small house. It works for me.
