Amr Fashion is tucked away in Narayan Nagar, right near Model Town in the Parvat Patiya area of Surat. Our specific spot is H/2. Surat is famous for fashion and textiles, so we fit right in with the neighborhood. It’s a lively part of the city. There’s always something going on outside our door. We deal with garments, mostly doing the everyday work of sorting and shipping. The workspace is pretty basic. We have some racks, some tables, and a lot of plastic bags for packing. We aren't interested in being fancy. Most of the time, we’re just making sure the right sizes go into the right boxes. We have a few people working here who have been in the textile industry for years. They know their stuff. We don't have any big corporate rules. We just work together to get the orders out. Sometimes we have a late lunch because things get busy, but nobody really complains. The weather in Surat can be quite humid, so we keep the windows open for a breeze. We know our customers and they know us. It’s a relationship built on just doing what we said we’d do. We aren’t looking to be the biggest in the world, just to be reliable here in Parvat Patiya.
