Amit Fashion is right in the middle of the chaos at Radhe Krishna Market. Our shop units are 3326 and 3327. If you have ever been to Ring Road, you know how busy it gets with all the textile trading going on. The market is like a maze, and our place is packed to the ceiling with rolls of fabric and finished clothes. There is hardly any room to walk once we get a new delivery. We spend our mornings sorting through the new arrivals and checking for any defects. It is a loud place with people shouting and carts moving through the narrow aisles. We don't have an air conditioner, just a couple of old ceiling fans that hum all day long. My cousin and I run the place, and we usually have a boy helping us with the heavy lifting. We don't do any big advertisements because the foot traffic in the market is enough to keep us busy. People come from all over to buy here, so we are always talking to different traders and bargaining over prices. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, especially during the wedding season. We keep our records in big ledgers by hand. It might seem a bit old-fashioned, but it is the way we have always done it. The Ring Road traffic is a nightmare, so we try to leave late to avoid the worst of it.
