Alnoor Telecom

Alnoor Telecom is based here in Surat. We don't have a massive showroom with glass walls; it’s just a regular shop on a regular street. We’ve got shelves filled with different mobile accessories and some second-hand phones. I started this place because I liked fiddling with electronics when I was younger. Now it’s just a job, but a decent one. We get a lot of young guys coming in looking for the latest covers or tempered glass for their screens. We do some basic repairs too, like changing batteries that have puffed up. The shop is a bit dark because the building blocks the sun, but we have enough lights inside. It gets pretty dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters. Surat is a big city, and there are mobile shops on every corner, but people come back to us because we recognize them. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is just written down in my ledger. Sometimes we close early if there’s a family function, which I know isn't very professional, but family comes first. We aren't part of some big corporation. We're just a small team trying to keep things running. If a charger doesn't work, we usually just swap it out for another one if it's within a few days. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door.
