Akshar Embrotex

Akshar Embrotex is located in Pachratna Tower, specifically at LG-29. We are right across from the Varachha Bank on L.H. Road. If you know Surat, you know how busy L.H. Road gets every single day. It’s a constant stream of traffic and people moving about. Our shop is on the lower ground floor, so it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which we are thankful for in the heat. We do embroidery work. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with different colored threads and stacks of fabric waiting to be worked on. There’s not much room for walking around once we have all the machines running. It’s a bit cramped, but we are used to it by now. The light isn't the best in the basement, so we have some extra lamps over the work areas to see the fine details of the designs. We don't have a receptionist; if you walk in, you’ll probably find us busy with a machine or checking a pattern on a piece of cloth. L.H. Road is the heart of the textile trade here, so we are right in the middle of everything. We get our lunch from the stalls nearby, and there is always someone dropping off a delivery or picking up finished pieces. It’s a noisy, fast-paced way to spend the day. We’ve been in Pachratna Tower for years. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that.
