Ajanta Travels & Xerox

Started the shop at Plot No 39/1 in Amrut Nagar quite some time back. Being right near the SMC and just opposite the Swaminarayan Temple makes it easy for folks to find us. It’s a busy spot here in Udhna. We do two main things, travel bookings and xerox work. Most days it’s just us handling the papers and checking the computer for bus or train timings. The xerox machine runs a lot during the mornings because people have work at the SMC office nearby. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some people come in just to ask directions to the temple because they get turned around. We don’t mind. It's just a small local place where we try to keep things moving. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a few minutes while the ticket page loads. Dealing with travel plans can be a headache for some, so we just take the details and do what’s needed. It isn't a fancy office with big chairs or anything like that. Just a desk, the copier, and some chairs for people while they wait. We’ve been here in Surat for years now and know the 394210 area pretty well. Usually, someone is always around if you drop by during the day. We try to keep the place tidy but with all the paper from the xerox, it’s a bit of a job. That’s pretty much all there is to us.
