Shiv Shakti Textiles

Shiv Shakti Textiles is located at G-29godown-old Bombay Market. It is mostly a storage space where we keep all our fabrics and rolls of cloth. Being in the Old Bombay Market means it is always crowded and there is always something going on outside our door. The godown itself is just a big room filled with stacks of textiles that go all the way to the ceiling sometimes. It can get a bit dusty in here with all the fabric, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We spend a lot of our time unloading trucks and then loading them back up again when an order comes in. It is heavy work and we get tired by the end of the day. We don't really do any fancy advertising. People know we are here at G-29 and they just come to us when they need something specific. The market has changed a lot over the years, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and we just try to keep the inventory organized so we don't lose track of things. It’s a practical business. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just sell textiles and try to make sure the counts are right before anything leaves the godown.
