Aapee International

You can find Aapee International on the upper ground floor of the World Trade Centre on Ring Road. It’s a very busy building to be in. There are always people moving about, carrying files or samples up and down the halls. Our office is at number 530. It’s not a huge space, but we have enough room for the desks and the filing cabinets that seem to multiply every month. Being on the Ring Road means it’s never really quiet. You can hear the horns and the shouting from the market outside all day long. We deal with international trade, so there is a lot of back and forth with shipping documents and phone calls to different places. Sometimes the phone rings at odd hours because of the time differences. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some maps and calendars to keep track of things. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is when we actually stop to talk to each other for a minute. It’s a lot of paperwork and making sure all the numbers match up before anything gets sent out. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It’s convenient because everything we need is nearby, even if the stairs are always crowded with people. We don’t try to make the place look like a showroom; it’s just a working office where we try to stay on top of the daily orders.
