Hemgiri Aqua Enterprises Private Limited is based out of the Hemgiri Palace area, at Sunil Kumar Singdeo’s place. We focus on the water side of things here. It’s different from just growing crops in the dirt. You have to watch the water levels and the temperature constantly. It’s a lot of watching and waiting. We started this because the local area had potential for fish and other water-based work that wasn't being fully used. It’s not a large-scale factory; it’s more of a local enterprise run by people who care about the Hemgiri region. The Khata and Plot numbers on our address might look formal, but our daily life is anything but that. We spend our time in boots, dealing with tanks and ponds. It gets messy and wet, especially when the rain starts. We don't have any polished speeches or big promises. We just try to keep the fish healthy and make sure the business stays afloat. Sunil’s place is where we gather to talk about the day's tasks. There is usually a lot of noise from the water and people shouting over it to be heard. It’s a busy life, and it keeps us on our toes. We are just a group of local people trying to make a living from what we have around us. It’s not a corporate gig, just honest work with the water and the fish we raise. We do our best every day.
