Kalpashri Agroecology (Opc) Private Limited

Our small office is located at Plot No- 224/744, near the Marathom Church in Jhirpani, Rourkela. This is Kalpashri Agroecology (Opc) Private Limited. It’s a bit of a long name for what is basically a one-person-led company focused on the land. We are up here in the Sundargarh district of Orissa. Jhirpani is a nice enough area, and being near the church makes it easy for people to find us. We don't do things the corporate way. It’s mostly just me and a few helpers looking at how to do farming better without hurting the environment. We look at the soil and the plants and try to figure out the best way to grow things naturally. The office is just a room with some notes and a few books. Most of the real work happens outside, talking to people who actually grow the food. Rourkela is known for the steel, but the farming around the edges is just as important to us. We try to keep things practical. There are no big promises or flashy brochures here. Just a focus on the ground and the crops. Sometimes people stop by just to ask about their garden or a field they are worried about. We take things one day at a time and try to stay helpful. It’s a quiet life, but the work we do with the agroecology side of things keeps us busy enough. We’re just local people trying to work with nature instead of against it.
