Our location is out in the Thelkoloi area, specifically in Lapanga, which is part of Sambalpur in Orissa. Manoj Ku. Mohallik is the main person here at this Bhushan Power & Steel site. It is a very industrial part of the state, so you will see a lot of trucks and heavy machinery moving around all day long. The roads can be a bit rough and it gets quite dusty, especially when the weather is dry. We have been operating from this spot for a long time. It is a large area because we need the space for all the steel and power equipment. It is not like a quiet city office; it is noisy and busy most of the time. We have a lot of local workers who come in for their shifts. The heat in Sambalpur can be really intense during the summer months, but we just get on with it. We do not really have a fancy way of describing what we do. We just show up and make sure the operations are running as they should. The site is a bit far from the main city center, so we have to plan our supplies carefully. Most people in the area know exactly where we are located because of the size of the place. We keep things simple and just focus on the daily tasks at hand. It is hard work but it is what we know.
