Our place is located at 60 Pathpora in Pandach, which falls under the S.M.C area. It is a bit of a trek for some, but it is where Madina Vocational Training Institute Private Limited is set up. Ghlum Mohd Parray’s family has been around here for ages. We do vocational training because not everyone wants to sit in a regular classroom all day. People come here to learn trades. The building is simple and practical. We spend most of our time on the ground floor making sure the equipment is working. Pandach is a decent area, quite close to Ganderbal. We see a lot of local faces every day. It is not a polished institute with a shiny lobby. It is a place where you get your hands dirty and learn a skill. We deal with all the registration stuff and the training schedules ourselves. Sometimes it is a bit messy with all the paperwork and the tools lying around. We do not spend money on big ads. Usually, someone just hears about us from their neighbor and drops by. We are part of the local community here in Jammu and Kashmir.
