Ess Degree College

If you know the Bus Stand X-Roads in Venkatagiri Town, then you’ve probably seen Ess Degree College. We are right there at 2-2-1, which is a pretty busy spot in Nellore. The noise from the buses and the traffic is just part of our day. We’ve been operating here for years, helping local students work toward their degrees. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. Most of our staff lives nearby, so we know the families in the area. When the college opened, the idea was just to have a place close to the transport links so kids didn't have to travel too far. Every morning starts with opening the shutters and checking the schedules. It gets crowded during the mid-day break, especially with the shops right outside. We spend a lot of time just managing the flow of people in and out. Sometimes the internet is slow, or we have to fix a desk, but we manage. The building has seen a lot of students pass through over the years. It’s not a sprawling campus, just a solid building where classes happen. We don't spend much on decorations; we'd rather keep the lights on and the books available. It feels like a real part of Venkatagiri. People drop by to ask questions all the time, and we just talk to them like neighbors. We hope to keep doing this for a long time to come.
