Breeders And Root Farmers Private Limited is down in the basement at 8-B, Main Mathura Road. We share the building with some other businesses in the Jangpura area. Being in a basement in South Delhi has its quirks, like the way the sound of the traffic on Mathura Road hums through the walls all day long. We are all about the farming side of things, specifically looking at roots and how things are bred. It is not a glamorous job at all. We spend a lot of time looking at data and talking to folks out in the fields on our phones. The office is mostly desks, some old chairs, and a small area where we keep our records in metal cabinets. It is a bit of a maze with all the files we have accumulated over the years. We don't have a cleaning crew that comes every night, so it can get a bit untidy with papers and books. We just focus on the work. We are a small group and we've known each other a long time. It feels more like a family than a company most days. We have our disagreements and our busy seasons where no one gets much sleep. Jangpura is a busy place, and being right on the main road means there is always something going on outside our door. We are just trying to contribute our part to the farming world. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. It is just us and the work.
