This started with Sansar Wati at house number 44 in the Paramount area. We call ourselves Diversificationfoods because we didn't want to just do one thing. Pundrik is where we are based out of mostly. It’s a busy life. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen and the storage area. We think about different kinds of foods and how to get them ready for people. It’s not like a big factory with machines. It’s more like a home-run setup that got a bit bigger than we expected. We have bags and containers everywhere. Sometimes it feels a bit cluttered but we know where everything is. Sansar Wati keeps a close eye on the quality of what we produce. If something isn't right, she says so right away. We don't have a lot of fancy labels or a big sales team. We just talk to people we know in the neighborhood. Word of mouth is how we get by. Paramount is a decent neighborhood to work from. We have our regulars who come by to see what is new. We like the variety of the work. One day it’s grains, the next day it might be something else entirely. It keeps us on our toes and busy. We are just trying to offer something a bit different than the usual stuff you find in the big stores. It's a small team, mostly family and a couple of friends. We work long hours but it feels okay because it's our own business. That’s enough for us.
