Smpada Agro Products Private Limited is run out of Plot No-577 in Vpo Ujwajaffar Pur. Being located in New Delhi but still inside a village area gives us a very different perspective on how things work. Most of our daily tasks involve handling agro products, so we spend a lot of time looking at bags of grain and talking to people from the nearby fields. The office itself is pretty simple. It is just a place where we keep the records and meet up before heading out for the day. Ujwajaffar Pur is a bit of a long drive from the main city center, but it suits us fine because we need the extra space for storage. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit in the afternoon, but we just keep working through it. We are not trying to be some giant global company; we just want to get the products out to the people who need them. It is a lot of manual work, like lifting heavy bags and checking the quality of seeds by hand. My cousin helps out with the paperwork while I handle the logistics on the ground. It gets really dusty around here, especially during the harvest months, but that is just part of the life. We have been at this plot for a while and all the neighbors know us by name. It is a quiet existence mostly, just focusing on the crops and making sure supplies don’t run short.
