Tradex India

Our spot here at C-15 in the Qutab Institutional Area is actually pretty decent for getting work done. It’s not as chaotic as the main markets, which is nice when you’re trying to focus. Tradex India has been operating out of this space for some time. Usually, the mornings start with someone unlocking the main gate and clearing away any leaves that blew in overnight. We aren’t a huge team, just a few of us sitting around desks, handling the daily back-and-forth of trading. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it hasn't been a priority. We have a small corner where we keep the water cooler and a stack of old files that no one wants to archive yet. Sometimes you hear the birds outside, which is a nice break from the computer hum. Finding the place can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with the institutional area, but once people find C-15, they usually remember it. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. It’s just a workspace. Most days are spent on the phone or typing out emails to suppliers. We try to keep things organized, but on busy weeks, the desks get buried under notes and samples. It’s a simple setup, really. No fancy lobby or leather chairs. Just us doing what we do every day. The tea guy comes by at eleven, and that’s usually the highlight of the morning for everyone here.
