We are located down in the lower ground floor of A-15 in Hauz Khas. It’s the front unit, so you can see our entrance from the street, though you have to walk down a short flight of stairs. We spend our days surrounded by kitchen equipment and stainless steel appliances. It’s a busy place because Hauz Khas is such a popular area for restaurants and cafes. Parking is always a bit of a nightmare around here, especially when the delivery trucks arrive with new stock. We have boxes of equipment stacked in the hallways sometimes while we find space for them. It’s not a very large office, so we all work pretty close together. The lighting is okay, but we mostly rely on the lamps over our desks. We aren't fancy people and we don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a handful of us making sure the orders are processed and the machines are ready to go. We usually eat our lunch together at the back table when there’s a quiet moment. Some days are stressful when a customer needs something urgently, but we just handle it one step at a time. We’ve got some old catalogs and price lists scattered around the place. It’s a working environment where the main goal is just getting through the day's list. Most people in the local food trade know our faces and where we sit.
