The Talent Tree

Our office is tucked away at C-1/12 in Vasant Vihar. It’s a regular building in a pretty quiet part of the neighborhood, which helps when we need to concentrate on our work. We’ve been here for a while now, mostly spending our days looking through stacks of resumes and talking to people who are looking for a change in their careers. It’s not a high-rise corporate building with a big lobby. Instead, it’s a small, practical space with a few desks and some filing cabinets that are usually overflowing. We spend a lot of time on the phone, trying to coordinate between different people and companies. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and other times it’s so quiet you can hear the clock on the wall. We aren't a huge team, just a handful of us who know how to get the job done without making a big deal out of it. We keep a small kitchen area for making tea and coffee, which we go through a lot of during the day. Vasant Vihar is a nice area to work in, even if parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don't have any big signs out front, just a small one near the door. It’s a straightforward place where we just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized as much as possible, even when the paperwork starts to pile up on our desks.
