Over at A-102 in Vasant Nagar, you’ll find the Spectris Technologies Pvt Ltd office. Vasant Vihar is a pretty well-known part of New Delhi, but our specific corner is a bit more tucked away. The building is solid and quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on technical things. Inside, the office is filled with a mix of computer equipment and regular office furniture. We’ve got some whiteboards on the walls that are usually covered in scribbles and diagrams that only a few people really understand. It’s the kind of place where things feel very hands-on. There are always boxes of components or new hardware arriving at the door. We don’t have a formal dress code, so most of us are in jeans or whatever works for a long day. The light is okay, though we use desk lamps for the late evenings when the sun goes down early. We have a small kitchen area where the fridge is always full of water bottles. Sometimes we order in food when a project is taking longer than expected. It’s a small team, so we all know what each other is working on. There isn't much in the way of corporate structure here; we just talk across the desks to get things sorted. It’s a straightforward way to work, and it keeps things moving without too much fuss. Most of the time we are just solving problems and checking our data.
