Sparkling Careers

We’re tucked away in B 27 over at Vrindavan Apartments in Dwarka Sector 6. It’s a bit different being in an apartment complex rather than a big glass building, but it works for us. It feels more homey that way. We spend our days talking to people about their jobs and where they want to go next. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails, honestly. Dwarka is a nice area, plenty of space, though the commute can be a bit of a trek if you're coming from the other side of Delhi. We've been here for a while now. The office has a few desks and some chairs for visitors, nothing too stiff. We try to keep things relaxed because looking for work is stressful enough for people. We aren't a massive agency with hundreds of people. It’s just a few of us trying to help people figure out their next step. Sometimes the internet acts up or the printer jams, you know how it is. We just deal with it and move on. It’s quiet in the afternoons here. We usually have the windows open if the weather isn't too dusty. People come by, we have a chat, and we see what we can do. It’s a simple setup. We like being in this part of town, it’s got a good feel to it. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. We've got a little kitchen where we make coffee. Nothing fancy. It’s a simple life.
