Sonance Interntional

We run Sonance International out of an apartment at 15-E in the Shivalika Apartments. It is on Plot No 16 in Sector 9, Dwarka. Using an apartment as an office makes the workday feel a bit more relaxed than being in a big commercial tower. We have set up our computers and desks in the main rooms where we handle international sourcing and trade logistics. Dwarka is a nice, planned out area, so it is relatively quiet compared to the center of Delhi. Most of our day is spent on the computer, emailing people in different time zones or tracking shipments across the ocean. We don’t have a big sign outside or a reception desk, just the apartment number on the door. It is a small operation, usually just a few of us working together. Sometimes we take our breaks on the balcony to get some fresh air and look out at the other buildings in the complex. The work involves a lot of details and paperwork for customs and shipping companies. It can be a bit stressful when things get delayed, but we just keep at it until everything is sorted out. We like being in Sector 9 because everything we need is close by. It’s a comfortable way to run a business without all the usual office fuss.
