Shricon Prefab

If you know Mahipalpur, you know how busy the Main Vasant Kunj Road gets, especially being so close to the airport. Our office is in the Noratan Building at number 313, right near the IDBI Bank. It’s a pretty lively area with people always moving about and planes flying overhead every few minutes. Shricon Prefab is located on the first floor, which is lucky because we don't have to climb too many stairs. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of drawings of prefab cabins and site offices. We spend a lot of our time looking at these plans and talking to the guys at the sites to see how the assembly is going. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the traffic and the occasional loud conversation from the hallway, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a big reception area or fancy furniture. We mostly drink instant coffee and eat lunch at our desks while we figure out the logistics of moving large structures across the state. Sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but that’s just part of life in this part of Delhi. We aren't doing anything glamorous; we just make sure these portable buildings get where they need to go and that the measurements are right. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it a long time now.
