Shri Krishna Steel Industries

We have been here at Khasra No. 443 in Nasirpur Village for a while now. The workshop gets pretty loud during the day with all the metal cutting going on. Shri Krishna Steel Industries is just a place where we get through a lot of raw material every week. Most people around here know where the shed is. It isn’t fancy at all. There is dust and the smell of iron everywhere, which is just part of the job. Some days the machines act up and we have to spend time fixing them before any real work starts. We handle different types of steel orders depending on what people in the village or nearby need. Usually, it’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the measurements aren't off by too much. It gets hot in the afternoons under the tin roof, but we just keep at it. Most of the guys have been working here since the start. We don't really have a big office or anything, just a desk with a lot of papers and some old chairs for when customers drop by to talk about their requirements. It’s basic work but it keeps the doors open. We try to finish things on time but sometimes the weather or electricity cuts get in the way. That’s just how it goes in Nasirpur. We aren’t trying to do anything world-changing, just making sure the steel goes out and the bills get paid.
