Ravindra Industries (India) is tucked away at 99, Ch. Nathu Ram Complex in the Dabri Industrial Area. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly small workshops and warehouses. Our spot in the complex isn't hard to find once you get past the main gate. It’s a noisy place with the sound of machines and trucks coming in and out all day long. We have been operating here for years, and the space is filled with tools and raw materials. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find plush carpets or expensive art on the walls. Instead, there’s oil on the floor and the smell of cut metal in the air. We keep a small office in the front where we handle the billing and the phone calls. Most of our time is spent in the back, checking on the production or making sure the orders are ready for pickup. The guys working here are from the neighborhood and they know their way around the machinery pretty well. We don’t have a website that looks like a movie, and we don't have a big corporate office in the city. We just have this space in Dabri where we put in the hours every week. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. It’s honest work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial park. We just keep our heads down and get the job finished.
