Saloni Silver Arts

Saloni Silver Arts is a small shop located at number 4 in the Shree Vithal Co-Op Society on Hanuman Road. Being in Vile Parle East is great because it’s a lively area with plenty of people walking by on their way to the market or the station. We focus on silver work here. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of space we have for our tools and the silver pieces we are working on. It’s a bit of a cluttered place, with polishing wheels and little containers of parts on the benches. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright spotlights. It’s more of a place where you can see the work being done. We’ve been here for a good while and have become a regular stop for folks in the society. We don't do much in terms of promotion. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here on Hanuman Road for years and people know us. We drink tea from the small shop nearby and chat with the neighbors while we work. It’s a comfortable, steady pace. We aren't trying to be the most famous silver shop in Mumbai. We just want to do a good job on the pieces people bring to us. It’s a simple business run by regular people who like what they do.
