Proexport Colombia

Proexport Colombia is set up inside the Embassy of Colombia here in New Delhi. The address is 85, Poorvi Marg, in the Vasant Vihar neighborhood. It’s a quiet, green part of the city with lots of trees and big houses everywhere. Being inside the embassy means there is a certain way of doing things every day. We have security at the gate and a fairly quiet atmosphere inside the main building. It doesn’t feel like a typical busy commercial office you might find in the city center. We spend our time connecting people and handling various inquiries related to Colombia. The building is nice and well-maintained by the staff. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic from the street because it's a residential area. It’s mostly scheduled visits from people who have appointments. Poorvi Marg is a pleasant street to walk on during the cooler months when the sun isn't too hot. We work in a small section of the embassy building. There isn't any flashy advertising on the outside to tell you what we do. We just have our desks, our computers, and our files. The pace is steady but not frantic like it is downtown. Vasant Vihar is a bit far from the main business districts, but it suits the nature of what we do here. We’ve been here for a while and the staff knows the neighborhood pretty well. It's a professional spot but we try to keep things relaxed among ourselves. We just do our part to keep things running smoothly.
