You can find us at E 117 in Jai Vihar, right off the Nangloi Najafgarh Road. It is a long name for a place, Prasar Bharati Sectt Broadcasting Corporation Of India, but we just think of it as our daily workplace. The road outside is always packed with trucks and buses going back and forth between Najafgarh and Nangloi. It gets very loud and dusty, but inside the office, we just focus on the administrative side of things. It’s a secretariat office, so there’s a lot of back-and-forth with other departments. The Jai Vihar area is quite industrial and busy, which means there’s always something going on. We don’t have a fancy canteen, so most of us bring lunch from home and eat at our desks while chatting about whatever is on the news. The building is functional, designed for work rather than looking good for visitors. We’ve got stacks of documents and the usual office equipment that hums along all day. Getting here in the morning can be a bit of a struggle with the traffic on the main road, but once you’re inside, it’s just the usual routine. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the space; it’s just where the broadcasting corporation’s business gets handled for this section of the city. It’s a solid, hardworking environment without any extra fluff, just people getting their tasks finished before heading home.
