We started Abacus Management Consultants Pvt Ltd here in Sector 3 of R K Puram quite a while back. It’s a busy part of New Delhi and we are right at 556 A. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and sorting through paperwork for different companies that need help with their management side of things. It isn't always glamorous work but it keeps us busy. We have a small team here and most of us have been living in the city for years so we know how things work around here. The office is usually a bit cluttered with files and coffee mugs, but we know where everything is. People stop by sometimes to ask about how to set up their business processes or just to get some advice on handling their day-to-day operations. We don't really do the big fancy corporate presentations much. Instead, we just sit down and talk through what needs doing. It’s more about getting the job done than looking perfect. The traffic outside can get pretty loud during rush hour but we’ve gotten used to it. Being in New Delhi means there is always something happening and we try to stay on top of the local changes that affect our clients. We aren't a massive chain or anything like that, just a local group trying to make sense of management problems for others. We've been at this address for a bit now and it feels like home.
