Accenture

Accenture is over in Khazan Basti in New Delhi. The address is Wz 156 D 8. It is a busy neighborhood. There are always people moving around outside. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long. Our office is tucked away in one of the buildings here. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road. The stairs are narrow, so you have to be careful when carrying things up. We have a couple of rooms that we use for work. One is for the computers and the other is for storing supplies. We don't have much wall decor. Maybe just a clock and a few notes pinned up. The lighting is okay, though we added some extra lamps for the evenings. New Delhi gets very cold in the winter, so we have a small heater under the desk. We share the space with another small group in the building. We see them in the hallway and say hello. It’s a very grounded way of working. We don't have fancy coffee machines. We just make tea on a small stove. The work gets done regardless of the simple surroundings. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait for it to come back. It gives us a chance to talk to each other. We prefer this honest way of doing things. It’s a practical location for our small team.
