Pet Plus

Pet Plus is located over at B 3/9 in Vasant Vihar, and it has been part of the neighborhood for a while. It’s a smallish space but we pack it full of whatever we can fit on the shelves. Most days it is just us dealing with stacks of heavy dog food bags and trying to keep the place organized. It’s hard because there is always a new delivery coming in or someone stopping by to ask about a specific brand of cat litter. We see a lot of the same faces every morning when people are out walking their dogs around the block. The shop floor is always getting swept because hair and dust seem to find their way into every corner no matter what we do. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the delivery trucks are unloading out front. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the locals about their pets and what’s going on in the area. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just shelves, some counters, and a lot of pet supplies. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when two or three people come in at once with their pets, but we manage. The back room is mostly where we keep the extra stock and the old desk where we do the paperwork. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and the people nearby. We just keep things moving every day and hope for the best.
