We chose this spot because it's away from the heavy noise of central New Delhi. Still, the commute can be a bit of a trek for some of us who live further out. The space is basically a converted apartment, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office environment. We have our desks set up in what used to be the living room and bedrooms. It's a bit tight when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. Most days are spent on our computers doing technical drawings and looking at plans. It's not the kind of work that makes for a lot of excitement, but it's important to get it right. We get our lunch from the local market nearby. Usually, someone brings in snacks to share with the group during the afternoon tea break. The neighbors are used to us being here now. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to call the guy to come fix it, which is always a bit of a hassle. No big reception area exists here. People just knock and come in. It’s a very practical way to run things. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high on the dining table.
