Nextek Deesign Lab

We’ve been here at Nextek Deesign Lab for a while now. Our spot is at A-18, Gali No. 3 in Dabari Extn. It is right on Palam Road, pretty much opposite Dada Dev Hospital, so it’s easy to find if you know the area. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get our work done every day. Most mornings start with someone making tea and opening up the shutters. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, especially with the hospital across the street, but we’re used to it. We spend a lot of time sitting at the benches working on different projects. Sometimes things go smooth and other days we are just trying to figure out why something isn't working right. We have a few desks and a lot of tools lying around. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who show up and stay until the job is finished. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. People usually just walk in and ask for whoever they need. It’s mostly just about getting through the tasks we have for the week. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to that yet. We just focus on the drawings and the technical stuff we do. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood because it’s where we started and it feels right to be here among other local shops.
