Navras Fashions

Navras Fashions is located right in the heart of Dwarka. It’s a busy part of the city, and we’ve been here for a while now, working with different types of clothing and fabrics. Our shop or workspace—depending on what day you catch us—is usually filled with rolls of cloth and half-finished garments. It’s not the most organized place in the world, as there are always threads on the floor and needles tucked away in corners. We do a lot of sewing and checking patterns to see what works. The staff is mostly people who have a good eye for how a piece of clothing should sit. We aren't a massive factory, just a local spot where things get made by hand or on small machines. Dwarka has a lot of energy, and we feel that every day when we open up. Sometimes we have too much work and everyone is rushing, and other times it’s a bit quieter and we can catch up on repairs or cleaning the workbenches. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the shop; we’d rather just have good lighting so we can see what we are stitching. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work, but we enjoy seeing a project come together. We just try to keep things moving and stay busy throughout the week. There is always tea around, and we take small breaks when the afternoon heat gets a bit too much for the sewing room.
