Ipshita Fashion

We run this out of the Brahma Apartments over in Sector 7. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because we have a lot of fabric and finished pieces sitting around. Living and working in Dwarka is convenient, though. We started small, just a couple of machines and some ideas. Now, the living room is basically the workshop. You can hear the machines humming through the door if you walk by. It’s not a big shop with windows and displays, it’s more of a place where we actually make things. Sometimes the neighbors come by to see what we're working on. We get a lot of light from the windows during the day which is good for seeing the colors right. Things can get messy with thread and scraps on the floor, but we clean up every night. It’s just two of us mostly, handling everything from the first cut to the final stitch. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up and opens the door. It’s simple. We like being in Plot No 7 because it feels like a real neighborhood. Some days are long, especially when we have a deadline, but it’s fine. We drink a lot of tea and just keep sewing. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just making clothes and keeping the business going. We aren't trying to be famous or anything, just keeping Ipshita Fashion running day by day.
