Tarangi

Tarangi is our little spot over at D-137 in Dashrath Puri, right along the Dabri Palam Road. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always something to look at out the front window. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of branches. It’s just us here. The shop space is filled with whatever we’re working on at the moment, so it can look a bit cluttered to an outsider. We don’t mind it, though, because we know exactly where everything is kept. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy to get around to it. Most of our customers are locals from around Dashrath Puri or people who happen to be driving down Palam Road and decide to stop. We don’t have a big marketing plan or a fancy website. We just open up in the morning and see who comes by. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to escape the sun for a few minutes and have a chat. We have a few old stools for people to sit on. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We like it that way because it feels more honest. Dealing with people face-to-face is the best part of the job. We’ve been at this address for a while and it feels like a real part of the community. It’s just a simple, local business trying to do things right without any extra fuss.
