Over in Vasant Kunj, you’ll find Mckinsey Company at D2 2273. It’s a quiet residential block, and our office is tucked away inside. New Delhi 110070 is a big area, but this specific spot feels like a small village sometimes because everyone knows their neighbors. The office isn't very large. We’ve got a couple of rooms filled with desks and a lot of paper stacked up. We aren't the most high-tech group, but we have what we need to get the job done. The walls are a bit bare, maybe a calendar or two, but that’s about it. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking through projects. Sometimes the delivery guys have trouble finding the exact house number, so we spend a lot of time giving directions over the phone. Vasant Kunj is a nice place to work because of all the greenery around us. We usually take a short walk after lunch just to clear our heads. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel, with jackets hanging on the backs of chairs and half-empty water bottles on the desks. We don't try to look like a big corporate entity. We’re just a small team of people trying to do our work well and go home to our families. It’s a simple existence, but it’s ours. We’ve been here a while and we’re quite content with the setup. It works for the type of people we are.
