Our office is located at 180 Hauz Khas Apartments, right on the busy Auribindo Marg in New Delhi110016. If you’ve ever driven down this road, you know how the traffic can get, especially when the sun is going down. The building is one of those older apartment blocks that has seen a lot of history. We’ve turned a few rooms into our workspace for the consulting group. It’s got that lived-in feel, with some cracks in the plaster and heavy wooden doors. We spend most of our day here, surrounded by stacks of reports and maps. Because it's an international consulting company, we’re often on the phone at odd hours to talk to people in different time zones. The location is a good spot to be in, even if it gets a bit noisy with all the honking from the main road. There’s a small kitchen in the back where we make a lot of tea and coffee to keep us going through the long afternoons. The windows don’t seal perfectly, so you can always hear the city breathing outside. We don’t have any fancy signs or a glass lobby. You just buzz the intercom and come up the stairs. It’s a very practical way to work. We’ve been here for years, and the walls are covered with various charts and reminders from old projects. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our space and we get things done without making a big fuss about it.
