M. K. Packaging

The Naraina Industrial Area is a very busy place, especially here in Phase 2. Our unit is B-68/2 B, tucked away among all the other workshops and small factories. M. K. Packaging is basically just a few rooms filled with machinery and raw materials waiting to be used. It is often quite loud because of the industrial fans and the constant movement of trucks on the road outside. We do not have a fancy office with leather chairs or anything like that. Instead, we have some old wooden stools and a desk that is usually covered in invoices and delivery slips. The air smells like cardboard and printing ink most of the time. We get in early before the sun gets too hot and start prepping the machines for the day's run. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We do not spend any time on long meetings or anything formal. We just look at the orders and start the packing process. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial estate, and everything goes quiet for a while. We usually use those moments to grab some tea from the vendor at the corner. The floor is made of concrete and it is a bit cracked in some places, but it holds up. We have seen a lot of people come and go in this area. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work at hand. Getting things ready for shipping is what we do every single day.
