We are set up at C 5 26 in the Safdarg Development Area. This part of New Delhi has a specific kind of energy because of the students and the shops nearby. It makes the morning walk from where we park feel quite lively. Our office is a basic space. We aren't big on decorations or anything fancy. It is mostly just shelves filled with documents and the usual office equipment that sometimes needs a good kick to work properly. The light in the afternoons is actually quite nice through the windows, even if the view is just the building across the way. We keep things simple here. There is usually a lot of chatter about what to order for lunch or how the commute was that morning. Traffic around this area can be a total mess, so that is a frequent topic of conversation. We just focus on getting through the lists of things that need doing. It is a practical environment. No one is wearing suits unless they absolutely have to for a specific reason. Most of the time, it is just us sitting at our desks, typing away and making sure the numbers and details are correct. It’s a bit of a maze in this part of town, but we have settled in well over the years and know the local area and the tea stalls pretty well by now.
