You can find Kpmg over at Guru Apartment in Dwarka Sector 6. We are in Flat No 464, which is part of Plot No 2. Dwarka is one of those places that feels like a bunch of small villages connected by big wide roads, and Sector 6 is a pretty established part of it. Guru Apartment has been around for a while, and it’s a typical housing society setup. Our office is just one of the flats converted for our use. It’s got that lived-in feel, not like a sterile office building in a commercial district. We like the neighborhood because everything is close by—the local market, the banks, and the schools. To get to us, you usually have to sign in at the gate of the society. The security guys are used to people coming for Flat 464. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to Plot No 2, but it’s a nice enough path. We don’t have any massive neon signs or anything; we just go by the name on the door. It’s a very local way of doing business in New Delhi. Most of the people around here are families, so it stays relatively quiet during the day while we are working. It’s just a simple, practical space for us to be. We’ve been in this flat for a few years now and it fits us just right without being too much or too little for our daily needs.
