Jindal Stainless Ltd.

Working at Jindal Stainless Ltd. in the lifestyle product division keeps us pretty busy every day. We are located in the Jindal Centre at Bhikaji Cama Place, specifically at number 12. It’s a big building and there’s always people coming in and out. Our floor is where we handle all the stainless steel items that people use in their homes. It’s a lot of coordination between the factory people and the folks who actually buy the stuff. The elevators are sometimes slow in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It gets a bit hectic when a new shipment is being planned. You can hear the sounds of the city outside, but inside we are just focused on the metal products. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where we get things done. We have a small pantry where we grab tea and talk about the weekend. Most of us have been here long enough that we know the rhythms of the office. The lifestyle division is just one part of what happens in this building. We don't really do much advertising ourselves, we just make sure the products are right. It’s a solid place to work and the location is easy to find if you know Bhikaji Cama. There is always a lot of paperwork to file at the end of the day.
