India For Xelsat International

Working out of Sahara Apartments in Sector 6, Dwarka, feels a bit different than being in a regular commercial block. Our office is at Flat No B 301, right on Plot No 11. Since we are in a residential complex, it’s a bit quieter than the main markets, which is nice when you need to concentrate. We’ve got our desks set up in the rooms, and the balcony gives us a bit of a view of the other blocks. At India For Xelsat International, the day usually starts with the security guard at the gate nodding to us as we come in. The lift can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is heading out for school or work, so we often just take the stairs. It doesn’t feel like a big corporate office because it isn't one. There are piles of documents on the dining table we converted into a workspace and cables running along the floor. We make our own coffee in the small kitchen area, and sometimes the smell of someone’s lunch from next door wafts in. It’s a very local way of doing things, but it keeps us grounded. Dwarka is a big place, but this little corner of Sector 6 is where everything happens for us. We just keep our heads down, handle the international side of things, and try to make sure we don’t lose any important papers in the shuffle.
